Ordering & Pricing
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Standard patient wristbands have a 1,000-piece MOQ. Staff ID cards start at 500 pieces. For custom solutions with specialized materials or unique form factors, MOQ may vary. Contact us for specific requirements.
How do I get a quote for our hospital?
Submit a quote request through our contact form with your requirements including product type, quantity, RFID frequency, and any customization needs. We respond within 24 hours with a detailed proposal including per-unit pricing.
Do you offer volume discounts for health systems?
Yes. Pricing scales with quantity, and we offer significant discounts for multi-facility health systems. We also provide annual supply agreements for hospitals with recurring needs, ensuring price stability and guaranteed availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank wire transfer (T/T), PayPal, and letters of credit for large orders. Standard terms are 30% deposit with balance before shipment. GPO and hospital procurement systems are supported.
Product & Technology
What RFID frequencies do your wristbands support?
We offer three frequency options: Low Frequency (125kHz) for basic identification, High Frequency (13.56MHz) for NFC-compatible patient tracking and EHR integration, and Ultra-High Frequency (860-960MHz) for long-range asset and patient tracking up to 10 meters. Dual-frequency options are also available.
Are your wristbands compatible with our EHR system?
Our RFID wristbands are tested with all major EHR platforms including Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, and Allscripts. They follow ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 standards, making them compatible with readers from Zebra, HID, and other major healthcare IT vendors.
What chip options are available for patient wristbands?
We support MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3, NTAG213/215/216, EM4100/EM4200 (LF), and Impinj Monza (UHF). Custom chip programming and encoding is available for all chip types to match your existing hospital infrastructure.
How long do patient wristbands last?
Our standard patient wristbands are designed for 7-14 days of continuous wear, withstanding showering, sanitizer exposure, and daily clinical activities. Extended-wear silicone bands for long-term care facilities can last 30+ days. Staff ID cards are rated for 3-5 years of daily use.
What is the read range of your RFID products?
Read range varies by frequency: LF (125kHz) reads at 5-10cm for close-proximity identification, HF (13.56MHz) at up to 10cm for tap-based verification, and UHF (860-960MHz) at up to 10 meters for real-time location tracking and asset management.
Compliance & Safety
Are your products HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Our RFID products support HIPAA compliance through encrypted data transmission, secure chip technologies (AES-128 encryption on DESFire chips), and minimal data storage on the wristband itself. Patient health information should be stored in your EHR system, with only a unique identifier on the wristband.
Are your wristbands FDA registered?
Yes. Our medical-grade wristbands are manufactured in an FDA-registered facility. Materials meet biocompatibility requirements for prolonged skin contact. We can provide FDA registration documentation and material safety data sheets upon request.
Are the wristband materials biocompatible and latex-free?
All our patient wristbands are latex-free and manufactured from biocompatible materials including medical-grade soft PVC, silicone, and Tyvek. Materials are tested for skin sensitivity and safe for patients with allergies, neonates, and immunocompromised individuals.
Can your wristbands withstand hospital sterilization?
Our wristbands are resistant to common hospital cleaning agents, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and surface disinfectants. They withstand repeated exposure without degradation of print quality or RFID functionality. Autoclave-compatible tags are available for surgical instrument tracking.
Do your products meet Joint Commission requirements?
Yes. Our patient identification wristbands support Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG) for patient identification. Features include tamper-evident closures, standardized color coding for alerts, and barcode/RFID dual encoding for positive patient identification at every point of care.
Customization
Can we get color-coded alert wristbands for our facility?
Yes. We manufacture alert wristbands following AHA standardized color coding: red for allergies, yellow for fall risk, purple for DNR, pink for restricted extremity, and green for latex allergy. Custom colors and alert types are also available to match your facility's protocols.
Can you print our hospital logo and branding on wristbands?
Yes. We offer custom printing including hospital logos, department names, barcode fields, and color schemes. Both thermal-printable and pre-printed options are available. We can also supply blank wristbands for on-demand printing with your Zebra or SATO printers.
Can wristbands include both barcodes and RFID?
Yes. Dual-encoding wristbands with both printed barcodes (1D or 2D/QR) and embedded RFID chips are one of our most popular configurations. This provides redundancy and ensures compatibility whether your facility uses barcode scanners, RFID readers, or both.
Do you offer neonatal and pediatric sizes?
Yes. We manufacture wristbands in multiple sizes including neonatal (for newborns), pediatric, and standard adult. Neonatal bands use extra-soft materials with gentle closures designed for delicate skin. Mother-baby matching bands with paired identifiers are also available.
Shipping & Lead Times
What are your standard lead times?
Standard products ship in 2-3 weeks from order confirmation. Custom solutions with specialized printing or materials require 4-8 weeks. We maintain stock of popular configurations for faster turnaround on repeat orders.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide via DHL, FedEx, and UPS with full tracking. Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight and destination. We handle all export documentation and can work with your hospital's freight forwarder if preferred.
Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We provide free sample kits for qualified healthcare facilities. Kits include wristbands with different chip types, materials, and closure options so your clinical team can test compatibility and patient comfort before committing to a bulk order.
Do you offer emergency or expedited orders?
Yes. We understand hospitals sometimes need urgent restocking. Express production is available for standard products at additional cost, with turnaround as fast as 5-7 business days. Contact us directly for rush order pricing and availability.
